The Big Soap Quiz 2022
The Big Soap Quiz, filmed at dock10, returned to our screens this December. This annual battle of the soaps saw the Yorkshire Dales take on Greater Manchester as the stars of Emmerdale faced off against the stars of Coronation Street to find out who knew their ITV show best.
The Big Soap Quiz first aired 2011 and has proved a popular favourite with soap fans when it airs over the festive season. It sees the actors of both shows answer questions about their respective soap's storylines, identify characters from their silhouettes and rescue national treasures from their respective shows.
This year's quiz, again hosted by Stephen Mulhern, saw Corrie's Jack P Shepherd (David Platt), Sally Dynevor (Sally Metcalfe) and Ryan Russell (Michael Bailey) take on Emmerdale's Mark Charnock (Marlon Dingle), Nicola Wheeler (Nicola King) and Jurell Carter (Nate Robinson). In a nail-biting show, the village just beat the cobbles with Emmerdale securing their fifth win in the show's history.
