dock10's Virtual Reality Studio Shortlisted For Two Prestigious Sport Technology Industry Awards
At dock10, we take pride in the content produced in our leading facilities. Every piece of content created at dock10 is made with passion, excitement and the expert knowledge needed to produce some of the nation's best loved programmes.
This is why we are thrilled to announce that dock10 has been shortlisted for two leading sports industry awards, SVG Europe Sports TV Awards 2020 and the Sports Technology Awards, for our virtual studio capabilities that are utilised by the BBC's Match of the Day.
Nominated in conjunction with BBC Sport and Alston Elliot (AE Graphics), our virtual studio capability for Match of the Day has been shortlisted in the 'Outstanding Production Achievement (Innovation)' category at the SVG Europe Sports TV Awards. These awards honour companies and individuals who have pushed sports broadcasting and production forward in the 2019 calendar year. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 27 May.
dock10 is also proud to have our VR studio shortlisted for a Sports Technology Award under the 'Most Innovative Sports Broadcast or Broadcast Technology' category. These awards celebrate technology led innovation across sports globally. Winners will be announced on 10 September.
Launched in May 2019, dock10's 4K UHD ready virtual studio capability enables programme makers to create photorealistic output in real time, opening up a world of possibilities for shows across the nation.
