dock10 Welcomes BBC Young Reporters

Students attending the BBC Share Your Story Football Festival as part of the BBC Young Reporter project had the opportunity to visit the dock10 studios to see how television shows are made. They were given an exclusive look at the studios and galleries, including HQ7, home to the BBC's Match of the Day, Match of the Day 2, Football Focus and Final Score.

The BBC Young Reporter is the BBC's journalism and media project supporting young people to develop content creation skills, find out about careers in broadcasting and share their own stories. An exciting opportunity for young people to get involved with the BBC, it works in partnership with schools, colleges, youth organisations and charities to provide young people with the skills they need to create and understand the media. Schools and organisations taking part receive mentoring and career talks from BBC staff and journalists, as well as access to exclusive events, training and resources – including their tour of dock10.
